Interview mit einer Fachpflegefamilie
"Die erste Zeit war, wie wenn man eben Schwanger gewesen ist. Einfach noch mal ein bisschen Wochenbett: Ganz viel kuscheln, ganz viel Nähe und kennenlernen und rausfinden, was tut ihm gut und was tut ihm nicht gut", so beschreibt Sandra Werner* die erste Zeit mit ihrem Pflegesohn Andreas*. Das war Weihnachten vor fünf Jahren. Andreas ist gerade mal 10 Wochen alt als er am 21. Dezember sein neues Zuhause bei der Familie Werner bezieht. Dennoch hat er schon zwei
Trennungen hinter sich: die von seiner leiblichen Mutter und die von der Kurzzeitpflege. Schon während der Schwangerschaft war klar, dass seine Mutter nicht in der Lage sein würde, ihn zu versorgen. Die Stiftung Die Gute Hand hat deshalb eine Erziehungsstelle für ihn gesucht. Das ist eine Pflegefamilie, die speziell für Kinder mit besonderen Förderbedarfen geschult ist.
Die Familie Werner ist eine solche Fachpflegefamilie. Nach der Geburt ihres gemeinsamen Sohnes haben sie sich recht schnell entschieden, ein Pflegekind mit einem besonderen Förderbedarf bei sich aufzunehmen. Bei der Suche nach einem passenden Träger sind sie bei der Stiftung Die Gute Hand fündig geworden. Zu Beginn mussten sie noch eine vorbereitende Schulung zur Erziehungsstelle machen. Dafür kamen Mitarbeiterinnen der Stiftung zur Familie nach Hause und haben das Paar zu Themen wie Traumata, Bindungsstörungen oder auch Fetalem Alkoholsyndrom geschult. "Danach mussten wir noch das Führungszeugnis und ein ärztliches Attest beantragen und was man sonst eben noch so braucht. Um das andere hat sich die Stiftung gekümmert", beschreibt Sandra Werner das Verfahren.
Bereits ein halbes Jahr später haben sie Andreas das erste Mal getroffen und gemerkt, dass es passt. "Wir hatten vorher tatsächlich auch schon ein Kind, wo wir gesagt hatten, das passt nicht. Das fand ich auch noch mal eine tolle Option zu wissen, ich muss mich jetzt nicht für das Kind entscheiden, wenn ich vom Gefühl her sage, das stimmt nicht. Das fand ich total wichtig. Bei Andreas stimmte es aber sofort. Dann haben wir noch, ich glaube zwei Treffen gehabt und beim dritten haben wir ihn mit nach Hause genommen", sagt Frau Werner. Für sie und ihre Frau habe es nie eine Rolle gespielt, dass Andreas nicht ihr leibliches Kind ist. "Es hat in dem Moment, wo wir den Andreas aufgenommen haben, überhaupt keinen Unterschied gemacht. Für meine Frau noch weniger als für mich. Ich glaube, es ist schon so, dass bei einem leiblichen Kind die Bindung eine andere ist, auch die Bindung des Kindes an einen. Aber von den Emotionen her oder vom Annehmen her, macht es zumindest bei uns keinen Unterschied."
Inzwischen haben sie noch einen zweiten Pflegesohn. "Für uns ist es eine totale Win-Win-Situation. Wir wollten gerne viele Kinder haben und diese Kinder haben ein gutes Zuhause gebraucht. Und ich glaube, das können wir bieten", so Sandra Werner. Für alle, die überlegen ein Pflegekind bei sich aufzunehmen hat sie noch ein paar Tipps: "Ich glaube, wenn man da ganz viel Offenheit mitbringt und ganz viel Ruhe und ganz viel Akzeptanz, dann hat man schon einen ganz großen Schritt in die richtige Richtung getan. Die Kinder kommen aus einem anderen Genpool. Die Kinder sind anders. Ja, manchmal kommen die aus einer anderen Welt. Aber es ist wichtig, sie einfach so sein zu lassen, wie sie sind. Und die Herkunftsfamilie nicht als Feind anzusehen, sondern versuchen mit denen zu kooperieren. Wir denken immer so: Das, was sie uns gegeben haben, ist das Tollste, was sie geben konnten. Nämlich ihre Kinder uns anzuvertrauen."
