NRW-Familienministerin und Bundestagsabgeordnete zu Besuch in Haus Nazareth Leverkusen
Haus Nazareth Leverkusen hatte Besuch von NRW-Familienministerin Josefine Paul und der Bundestagsabgeordneten Nyke Slawik. Unser Vorstandsvorsitzender Christoph Ahlborn und Marga Giesen, stellvertretende Einrichtungsleiterin Haus Nazareth Leverkusen, haben die beiden begrüßt. Die Politikerinnen informierten sich über die Einrichtung und die Stiftung Die Gute Hand. Ein Thema war dabei auch der Fachkräftemangel. Marga Giesen, machte dahingehend noch einmal deutlich, dass ihre Einrichtung schon viel in die Zukunft investiert und versucht, möglichst schon früh durch Besuche in Schulen oder über FSJ das Interesse für den Beruf zu wecken. Sehr erfreulich war da der Hinweis von Nyke Slawik, dass die geplanten Haushaltskürzungen im Bereich des Freiwilligen Dienstes zurückgenommen wurden. Der Etat sei schon beschlossen worden, müsse aber noch vom Bundestag verabschiedet werden.
Nach dem fachlichen Austausch ging es dann zu einem Rundgang übers Gelände. Abschließend schauten die Politikerinnen sich auch noch die Therapeutische Intensivgruppe 2 an. Die Mädchen nutzten die Gelegenheit, um den Politikerinnen auch mal persönlichere Fragen zu stellen. Aber auch ihre Wünsche gaben sie mit auf den Weg.
